Job Description

Under supervision, assist engineering in the planning and testing ofelectrical/electronic components using advanced testing equipment including:

  • oscilloscopes

  • volt-ohm meter

  • dielectric tester

  • surge tester

  • electrostatic discharge tester

  • data acquisition equipment

  • programmable power supplies

  • thermal test chambers

  • Devise and fabricate test fixtures necessary to test components following lab test procedures and specialized test plans including setup and programming of automated test stations.

  • Generate wiring diagrams for test setups and test fixtures.

  • Ability to read and understand electronic control schematics.

  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.

  • Troubleshoot and repair of electronic/electrical circuits and controls.

  • Experience using power tools and machinery

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 2 years related experience.

Strong oral and written communications skills. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
