Job Description

The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Engagement and Adoption will perform training, support, and development of the Sales CRM for Lennox Residential which is built on the Salesforce.com platform. The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Engagement and Adoption will coordinate with internal support functions such as Sales, Marketing, Stores, and Technical Support to outline the success criteria, KPI’s, and metrics within each support function to measure engagement and adoption of the Sales CRM. This position will develop and execute the plan for all in-person and online education of the Sales CRM and will be responsible for creating content to be used for training sessions, meetings, webinars, and recorded sessions.

This position will have key ownership in the successful launch of critical projects, processes, and content integrated into Salesforce.com and will work with each key support function to establish transition plans and ensure change management is taking place. The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Engagement and Adoption will provide leadership within the team as well as cross-functionally.

As part of the Sales Effectiveness team, this role will provide the tools, assets, resources, and training to each functional group in order to improve efficiency and success. This position will interact heavily with the sales team to determine what gaps in available resources exist, the marketing team to ensure assets are aligned to the sales initiatives, and the operations team to provide the necessary tools and services for the sales team.

  • Develop and execute engagement programs for all levels of users of the Sales CRM and leverage recorded, online, and instructor-led methods to launch, sustain, and grow utilization of key functions and features.

  • Outline and develop training resources needed to support assigned functional groups/channels.

  • Own the production of sales assets and materials to facilitate the sales process.

  • Be the day-to-day lead for Sales Effectiveness within assigned functional groups/channels.

  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with systems and applications

  • Establish and manage assigned functional group steering committees to capture feedback and define enhancements to the system that align to corporate initiatives.

  • Responsible for the planning and executing of CRM projects which includes idea generation and exploration, preparing and presenting proposals, overseeing development, implementation processes, and championing successful execution.

  • Work with key stakeholders across support functions to provide visibility to metrics that will drive proactive coaching.

  • Assist in analyzing data to evaluate program goals and adoption of the Sales CRM.

  • Work with internal support functions such as Sales, Marketing, Stores, and Technical Support for the purpose of improving operational efficiency.

  • Recommend changes to current techniques, procedures, or efforts based on market research and new trends in Sales Effectiveness, Sales Enablement, CRM, and Integration.

  • Work within the team to create reports, dashboards, and analytic applications in the Sales CRM to support Sales, Marketing, Stores, and Technical Support initiatives.

  • Work with the cross-functional teams to glean requirements and feedback for new projects and enhancements to CRM functionality.

  • Educate others in the workflow, business processes, and analytics enabled by assigned functions and applications.


Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification. Requires at least 5+ years related experience. Implementation experience for sustaining and applying learning post-training, to include metrics to verify learning impact on the sales performance of the organization a plus.

  • Experienced with CRM training, support, and development. (Salesforce.com Preferred)

  • Previous experience working with sales to uncover new methods to leverage technology to alleviate pain points and inefficiencies

  • Content creation experience building assets and materials that are externally facing and can be used by the sales team to facilitate their sales cycle

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of training techniques and best practices for onboarding or adopting new technologies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Keen project management skills with an ability to interact with and motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously.

  • Effective verbal and written communication on all levels, both internally and externally, including presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasker.

  • Prioritizes workload and meets deadlines for a variety of "deliverables".

  • Demonstrates initiative with a results orientation, while exhibiting strong drive and leadership skills.

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

  • Expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.

  • Communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff, as well as business management
