Job Description


As the Sr. Manager, IT Digital Technology , you will provide broad direction to multiple teams of applications developers. You will provide broad oversight and execution to ensure the development and implementation of systems applications programs are on time and within budget.

In addition, you will be responsible for multi-year planning to determine the broad direction, prioritization of projects and return on investment within a functional sub-area.

You will also be trsuted to:

  • Lead the team responsible for Architecture, Front end solutions and Mobile application development. The team includes Technology Architect, Front end web designers and Mobile developers who are experienced in building high quality products leveraging best practices in software development.

  • Own and manage best practices to validate, prioritize, communicate, and delivery of production grade UI, Mobile and AI/ML applications specific to Ecommerce and IoT while working in close collaboration with Enterprise teams.

  • Coordinate strategic engagements with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, vendor account teams, solutions architects, and developers

  • Ensure the development of short- and long-term applications system plans is consistent with the needs and priorities of the business.

  • Provide feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs.

  • Assign personnel to various projects and direct activities.

  • Review and evaluate work and prepare performance reports.

  • Confer with and advise subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods.

  • Participate in information technology financial management activities, including annual budgeting cycle, project estimating, capital approval process, project budget oversight and resource time tracking.

  • Use technical judgment to guide decision maker with technology and business trade-off



  • Experience delivering, maintaining, and innovating large scale, public facing web or mobile applications

  • 10+ years of experience with software development, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a record of being detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of successful delivery of IT solutions as a team leader.

  • 7+ years of writing, presentation and speaking skills involving both business and technical sides of the business.

  • 3+ years of experience as an established technical leader of mobile software delivery teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products.

  • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript and related frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in Computer Science.

Strong Track record of leading development and delivery of public facing web-based products. Fluency in best practices for web-based or mobile-based information architecture and design; Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques

Knowledge of AI/ML and related technologies a plus

Ability to effectively communicate with and coordinate cross-functional teams, senior and executive stakeholders, and business and technical audiences

Experience working in cloud computing a plus

Commitment to renew through continuous learning and development pertaining to AI/ML

Should be passionate about architecture, agile delivery and DevOps

Should be clearly define and prioritize work.

Continuous improvement-based on feedback.

Stays on top of industry best practices and technologies.

High sense of urgency when resolving production issues.

Prior Management experience leading UI Developer teams

Prior Experience with Cloud to Smart device integration a plus

Prior experience using APIs and optimizing front end performance

Prior experience with mobile UI/UX

Adept at agile development methodologies such as Scrum

Strong experience building enterprise solutions and technologies
